Lotte Chemical MEG-1 Project

In October 2015, Samsung Engineering Consortium (Samsung Engineering America and CB&I (currently McDermott) of the U.S.) signed the contract for the LA MEG-1 Project with Lotte Chemical USA Corporation. This project was aimed at building an ethylene glycol (EG) production plant with a production capacity of 700,000 tons per year in Lake Charles, Louisiana in the south of the United States. We were in charge of the engineering and procurement work, and CB&I (currently McDermott) was in charge of the construction work.
