This is why we implemented our quality system after making continuous improvements and minimized quality issues through proactive management measures that are applied throughout engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) phases.


  • R Stamp / NBIC

    R Stamp certifies that the certified company meets all the requirements for the repair and renovation of boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure fixing items in accordance with Part 3, Section I of NBIC (National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors). We acquired and maintain the R Stamp Certificate.

  • S Stamp / ASME

    S Stamp certifies that the certified company meets all the requirements for the design, production, inspection, and installation of the steam boiler and high temperature water boiler in accordance with Section I of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). We acquired and maintain the S Stamp Certificate.

  • PP Stamp / ASME

    PP Stamp acknowledges observance of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B31.1 standards in design, manufacture, testing, and installation of power piping system components, such as pipes, flanges, bolts, and gaskets. SAMSUNG E&A obtained the PP Stamp and maintains it.

  • ISO 9001:2015 / LRQA

    ISO 9001 is a set of internationally recognized standards related to quality management systems. These standards were defined by the International Organization for Standardization and specify requirements a corporation must meet in order to guarantee the highest degree of quality in its products and services. SAMSUNG E&A's Seoul office, SAMSUNG E&A America, SAMSUNG E&A India, SAMSUNG E&A Saudi Arabia, SAMSUNG E&A Abu Dhabi, Grupo Samsung Ingenieria Mexico, and SAMSUNG E&A Thailand have all acquired this certification.

Quality Management and Improvement Activities

Comprehensive Preemptive Quality Management using the Quality Proactive Solution (QPS) System

Our quality staff in the EPC teams identify preventive measures required at the smallest units of work activity based on our experience database to prevent quality issues that repeatedly occur at project sites. Prior notice is made and required measures are implemented two weeks ahead of completing the work activity to root out the causes of recurring quality issues at project sites.

    Detailed quality operation guide for the smallest work units and quality process management between related or later-phase teams

    Monitor compliance with the quality management process of each owner and keep track of the outcome of preventive measures (review preventive process when quality issue occurs)

    Refrain from making quality activity owners unclear and require visible records by the smallest work unit owners to improve quality
