Lotte Aluminum H Project

From July 2020 to July 2021 for 13 months, we carried out the engineering, procurement, and construction of Lotte’s aluminum foil manufacturing plant project in the Tatabanya (Gyemant Bath) Industrial Park located 70 km to the west of Budapest, Hungary. With the land area of 59,500㎡, including the production building and the auxiliary building, the plant has the production capacity of 20,000 tons of aluminum foil per year. The product, anode foil, is used for the anode current collector that determines the capacity and voltage of the secondary battery which can be repeatedly charged and discharged, and is expected to gain a strong foothold in the fast-growing European electric vehicle market. We managed the project in an economic way by operating a compact organization that was shared with other projects in Europe and implementing the digital transformation (DT) practices of private overseas projects.
